Nashville Latino Health Coalition

The Nashville Latino Health Coalition (NLHC) is a collaboration among members of the grassroots Hispanic community and public health, healthcare, non-profit, academic and other organizations, who all share the common goal of improving the health of the Nashville Hispanic community. NLHC was founded in November 2005.

GOALS

1. To empower grassroots Latino community members to identify community strengths, needs and                        solutions
2. To facilitate collaboration between Latino community members and organizations based on reciprocal                learning and mutual benefit
3. To increase access to accurate health related-information and improve communication between                       organizations and Latino community members
4. To improve access to quality, culturally-appropriate healthcare among the Nashville Latino population
